PARADISE SUN HOTEL

Location: Located on the north-east coast of Praslin, the second biggest island in the Seychelles, the hotel cheap and affordable lies on Cote d'Or beach, which, like most of the beaches in the Seychelles, is covered in soft, white sand that disappears into warm tropical waters, and rarely dips below 24°C.

Accommodation: Each of the 80 charming French Colonial chalet or bungalow-style rooms feature louvered doors that open onto generous sea-facing verandahs overlooking the gardens. Room facilities include an en suite bathroom with a shower, a ceiling fan (no air conditioning), a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a telephone and a safe.

Facilities: Breakfast is served in the informal hotel restaurant, while lunch and dinner are taken in the "feetin- the-sand" beach bar-restaurant, which provides music and live entertainment. During the daytime, snorkelling and scuba diving provide intimate encounters with some of the best aquatic life in the world. Other leisure facilities include a swimming pool, TV and games room and a water sports centre – complimentary canoes, windsurfers and a 5-star PADI dive centre.
