The Ayung River in the Ubud region of Bali offers the perfect place to experience white water rafting. Not only will you experience the thrill of this adventure but you will also enjoy stunning views as you raft through winding gorges and pass luscious jungles and magnificent rice fields. This experience is available either in the morning, starting around 07:30, or in the afternoon starting around midday. You will be collected from your hotel and driven to the starting point of the rafting on the Ayung River, where you will be fitted with your safety equipment. Then it is into the raft for a 9.6km river descent, navigating through 33 class II and class III rapids with a professionally trained and experienced guide. The adventure will last approximately 1.5 hours, after which you are able to take a hot shower and then enjoy a hot buffet feast in a restaurant overlooking the mountains and rice fields. Note: children 7 years and over may take part. You will need to take sunscreen, waterproof footwear and a change of clothes.
