Travel Writers Competition

Travel writers are the unsung heros of the travel industry.

Their impartial reviews allow you to pick the best and avoid the worst. Their adventurous spirit finds the best holiday activities and their keen nose for a bargain helps you sniff out the best deals.

So to reward these tireless travellers we have launched our search for the Travel Writer of the Year 2011.

The winning writer will receive:-

A free Kuoni holiday for 2 people, an SLR digital camera, ipad 2, an assortment of travel gadgets, a free search engine optimisation audit of their website, press releases and promotion of their website/blog to the Holidaysplease 20,000+ newsletter base. A total prize value in excess of £5,000/$7500!!

Holiday goodies will also be awarded to the runners up.

All entrants will receive a complimentary copy of the marketing white paper "Maximising revenue from a travel website"

How to enter:-

It's easy!

Just send a travel article you have written to travelwriters@holidaysplease.com. The article:-

1) Needs to be no less than 250 words and no more than 1,000 words

2) Has to have been written exclusively by you.

3) Needs to be unique content (you are allowed to re-write an article you have written before).

4) Can be accompanied by up to 4 pictures. Each picture can be no more than 2MB in size.

On 1st July 2011 we will publish all the articles on our website and will invite members of the public to vote for their favourite. On 31st August 2011 we will count up the votes and the most popular will be crowned the "Holidaysplease Online Writer Of The Year 2011"
