Malta Holidays - beautiful place to learn

Where would you prefer to learn to dive? A cold lake in the UK filled with shopping trolleys or the crystal clear, warm waters of the Mediterranean?

Also, where would you prefer to come back to after your dive? A basic hotel with poor facilities miles away from the dive school or a luxurious 5 star hotel just 50 yards away?

Luckily Holidaysplease has secured a great diving deal with an amazing 5 star hotel in Malta which is situated just a few yards from the most professional and helpful dive school that we found on the island.

You will be able to do all your PADI classroom sessions in the evening and then test your skills in the secluded lagoon next to the hotel during the day. Holidaysplease dive customers also receive a complimentary massage at the hotel to help you relax after going back to school!

The beauty of Malta is that even the easy dives for beginners offer great sights.

Malta is perfect for novice divers as it has some very easy dives where you dive from the shore (rather than a boat). However despite being easy you can still see some fantastic plants, geology and wildlife. Also because of the number of wartime wrecks around Malta you can even see dramatic wrecks within just a few yards of the shore.

The PADI qualified diver course (called an open water course) costs £250. This includes everything such as course materials, classroom sessions, dives, equipment and transport. The course takes 4 days.

If you have already done your classroom sessions in the UK then the course reduces to 2 days and costs £125.

For safety reasons you should wait for 24 hours from your last dive before you fly. Therefore for a four day diving course you should plan at least a 4 night trip. This will cost £450 on top of your dive course and will include return flights from the UK, 4 nights at a luxury 5 star hotel (bed and breakfast) and even a complimentary massage in hotel spa centre.

After the course you will be a fully qualified PADI open water diver which will enable you to dive anywhere in the world with or without an instructor.
