Some people find it hard to locate the essential Botswana information so we have created a short Botswana Guide to help give you some ideas on what to see and do, when to visit and where to stay.
Botswana is famous for its safari's but did you know that these spectacular trips can be enjoyed on horseback or that you can explore the Okavango Delta on a Mokoro and catch the wildlife at the waters edge. You can also enjoy elephant-back rides, explore the many caverns and rock faces or head out on a quad-bike tour.
The peak season in Botswana is from May to August with the days blessed with plenty of sunshine and a great opportunity to catch the wildlife at the waterholes and riverbanks. September and October are much warmer and not for some whilst March and April is cooler and offers the chance to see the annual migration of thousands of animals.
If you are looking to stay within a wildlife reserve but still want 5-star luxury then why not try the King's Pool Camp in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve. Renowned for its herds of elephants there is plenty to grab your attention and the tented rooms boast their own private bathroom and have views onto the King's Pool Lagoon.
