Upmarket

A spacious, elegant Creole-style mansion on the hillside above St-Leu with wonderful sea views. The 12 rooms & 2 suites are beautifully decorated, all with AC, TV, phone, free Wi-Fi, & balcony/terrace with sea view. The suites are very private & spacious, ideal for a romantic retreat or for families. There is 1 room equipped for the disabled. Meals are served around the pool or on the veranda (see below). The service is good & many of the staff speak good English. HB packages available. $$$$

Mid range

There are 14 double rooms in the main building, 2 with disabled facilities. Bungalows in the garden house 40 rooms (20 with kitchenette) & 10 family bungalows for up to 4 adults & 2 children guests (with kitchenette). As part of a renovation in 2011, 16 new ‘Guetali’ rooms were built to accommodate 2 adults & 2 children; they overlook a separate pool & kitchenette. All accommodation has AC, TV, phone & safe. There is a restaurant by the main pool, a second (Italian) restaurant & a small spa offering massage & beauty treatments. Not by the beach, but St-Leu is nearby & the grounds are a pleasant place to relax. A car is helpful if you want to explore from here. Reasonable value, especially for families. $$$

This attractive Creole-style guesthouse has 2 B&B rooms plus 2 self-catering studios. The rooms are clean & nicely furnished, equipped with en suite, TV, safe & fridge. The studios have a kitchenette & terrace, 1 has a sitting room. The pool & jacuzzi have far-reaching views of the coast. You will need a car if staying here. Breakfast is provided; from Sep to Jun table d’hôte meals are provided 3–4 evenings a month, otherwise you will need to have dinner elsewhere. Min stay 2 nights BB, 1 week self-catering. $$
