Our Highlights of Brazil holiday takes in some of Brazil’s top attractions including Rio de Janeiro, The Amazon Rainforest and the almighty Iguacu Falls.
You will begin your holiday in Rio de Janeiro near the world famous Copacabana Beach before heading off to a jungle lodge deep in the Amazon Rainforest. The itinerary moves on to the almighty Iguacu Falls before finishing with some beach time in Buzios on the beach.
This itinerary is a great combination of destinations and experiences for anyone’s first time to Brazil.

Day 1 - 3 : Rio de Janeiro
Fly from the UK to Rio de Janeiro for 3 nights in the “Marvellous City”. You will stay at the 5* Sofitel Rio which is located in the heart of Copacabana Beach and has great views of the beach.
Enjoy an exciting Full Day Private tour of Rio de Janeiro including Corcovado (Statue of Christ), Sugar Loaf Mountain and a delicious BBQ lunch. (Alternative restaurant choices available)
With the rest of your time you could visit the historic downtown area or visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens. Alternatively you would be forgiven for spending your time sipping Caprhinias on the beautiful white sands of Copacabana Beach!
Day 4 - 7 : Amazon Rainforest
Fly from Rio de Janeiro to the city of Manaus which is the entry point for the Amazon Jungle. You will spend 1 night at the Tropical Hotel in Manaus before heading down the Amazon River for 3 nights at the fantastic Anavilhanas Lodge.
Located deep in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest, Anavilhanas Lodge offers comfortable accommodation for those looking to discover the rainforest with a little luxury. The hotel has a fabulous pool area which is a perfect spot to cool off in the heat. Your stay includes full board and a daily programme of excursions into the Jungle with their superb guides.
Day 8 - 10 : Iguacu Falls
Today you will fly from Manaus to Foz do Iguacu (1 connection) to discover the almighty Iguazu Falls. You will spend 2 nights at the famous Belmond Das Cataratas hotel which is located in the Iguacu National Park with views of the falls themselves. The hotel is a first class establishment with beautiful rooms, a fantastic pool area and delicious cuisine. Staying here means you can also access the Brazilian side of the falls before and after everyone else.
As part of your stay a private guide will meet you at the hotel for a half day walk around the Brazilian side of the Iguacu Falls. With the rest of your time you can explore the national parks or try one of the numerous activities on offer.
Day 11 - 14 : Buzios
In the morning you will fly back to Rio de Janeiro where you will then transfer to Buzios. Buzios is a relaxed town on a peninsula which is home to over 20 stunning beaches.
You will spend 4 nights at Villa d'Este which offers fantastic views of the coast from its swimming pool. The shops and restaurants of Buzios are just a short walk away.
Spend your time relaxing in the famous Brazilian sunshine or perhaps take a schooner trip for some world class snorkelling.
Day 15 - 16 : Fly to UK
You will head back to Rio de Janeiro and on to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
