Peru Inca Trail Tour with Ecuador & the Galapagos

Visit the highlights of Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands on this incredible 18 day journey.

Begin with 2 nights in Lima before flying onto amazing Cusco where you have 2 nights to acclimatise to the altitude of 3,500 metres. On day 4 enjoy a Private Half Day City tur of Cusco and nearby ruins.

On day 5 begin your 4 day hike along the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. The 27 mile trail winds through high jagged peaks and mountain jungles and combines spectacular scenery with a sense of history as you tread the same pathways followed by the ancient Inca pilgrims.

You will arrive at Machu Picchu at day break to witness the sun breaking over the sacred citadel. Enjoy a full day exploring this unique historical site before boarding the 4pm train back to Cusco where you stay overnight.

The next morning fly to Quito the capital of Ecuador. With a setting few cities can match, Quito has a rich and varied history and is now designated by Unesco as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

You will have 3 nights to explore Quito and we include a 3 hour Scenic Tour of this spectacular city.

Day 12 sees you boarding the Chiva Express along the Avenue of the Volcanoes. This stunning 2 day rail journey through the Andes crosses ravines and gorges, before descending through the lush tropical vegetation of the coastal plains that surround Ecuadors largest city, Guayaquil.

After an overnight stay in Guayaquil, fly to the inimitable Galapagos Islands for 4 nights. Natures wonders abound in a destination that for many visitors is a dream come true.

Your holiday adventure ends on day 18 as you return to Guayaquil to begin your homeward journey.
