Villa Casesnovas in Mallorca (or Majorca if you prefer!) is a perfect country retreat situated between the old town of Pollenca and Alcudia. It is just 50 minutes from Palma airport.

The Villa looks like it has been plucked from a glossy magazine and is one of the most extravagant villas in Pollenca, sleeping up to 11 people with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Villa Casenovas faces south and has two acres of land which catches the sun all day long. However there is air conditioning throughout the villa to keep you cool. There is also a 12 metre freeform pool, which has gentle steps into a shallow end for children. The surrounding countryside heads towards Palma and the hills of Alcudia in the far distance. The private drive leads to extensive parking.

Inside the villa is dramatic tiling, wood and stonework, soft furnishings and great attention to detail. There is a traditional Mallorcan pebble stone entrance hall which leads into a spacious air-conditioned lounge and dining room combination. The lounge has large sofas, a feature glass fronted fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD and music centre.

There are a couple of dining options with a formal dining area seating 10 and a front covered terrace, which has a dining table for 8. One side of this covered terrace has a superb barbeque kitchen for those al fresco evening meals.

As you would expect Villa Casenova’s kitchen is well designed with ceramic hob/oven, dishwasher, microwave and grill. Other features include a breakfast area, larder, deep freeze and laundry area with washing machine. The villa also has a small study, which has a bed settee which can be used for an extra child or nanny.
