This amazing cliff top above Falmouth Harbour plays host to weekly Sunday afternoon BBQs.  Locals and visitors alike gather to marvel at the wondrous views and enjoy the live music provided by local bands. It's easy to get to Shirley Heights by rental car or taxi and you'll find plenty of parking.  It's even possible to walk up to the heights if you are feeling energetic. Devil's Bridge National Park, Antigua

For spectacular proof of the power of the sea visit Devil's Bridge. This amazing natural rock formation is a great scenic spot for a bit of exploring and a picnic.  Only the very daring walk across the bridge itself, although with the full force of the Atlantic crashing on to it this is not the most advisable activity.  If you are staying at the Verandah Resort and Spa the Devil's Bridge is right on your doorstep.
