Shirley Heights in Antigua offers some of the best views of the island of Antigua. You can overlook the multimillion yachts in moored in English Harbour on your right and see an active volcano of Montserrat on your left.
We visited on the best night of the week which is Sunday. Here hundreds of people gather to watch the sun go down and party into the night.
We enjoyed Antiguan rum, a steel band and a proper caribbean BBQ as the sun slipped below the horizon. Everyone chatted and danced the night away in this historic British setting that was full of character.
Certainly Shirley heights should be on your "to do list" when you go for a holiday in Antigua!
