Our advice for travelling to Barbados includes a selection of things to do, when to travel and what vaccinations are recommended.

As a Caribbean Island you will enjoy great weather on Barbados and this makes Watersports a top pick. Scuba diving is excellent with crystal clear waters and snorkeling or a submarine trip is perfect for non-divers. Luxury catamaran cruises are a popular pursuit too along with visiting Stingray City or taking an island tour for the sights, shopping and history.

The winter months (December through to April) are the perfect time to visit whilst outside of this peak season you can get a bargain if you can handle the humidity. Late bookings are also popular but to ensure you receive the widest choice and the access to the best hotels we recommend booking well in advance.

Vaccinations may be required such as the Hepatitis A jab so please check in advance of travel with your doctor.
