'Into The Amazon" is the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the world's most iconic sports celebrity.

The Amazon claims over half of the rainforests left in the world, and this beautiful part of the world is one of the last remaining places on the planet, where you'll feel like you’ve stepped into pre-historic times.

We’ve decided to create our very own amazon tour, and offer the opportunity to visit one of the most unique places in the world. Although we can't claim David has organised this trip and we can't promise any sightings of him, there should be plenty of other creatures to feast your eyes on!

Our luxury amazon trip is 12 nights and 13 days of adventure, breath-taking views and memories that will last a lifetime.

Days 1-3 Rio De Janeiro

Fly from the UK to Rio de Janeiro for 3 nights in the “Marvellous City”. You will stay at the 4* Porto Bay International, located in the heart of Copacabana Beach it offers superb sea views. Enjoy an exciting Half Day Jeep tour to Corcovado (Statue of Christ) and Tijuca Forest.

With the rest of your time you could visit the historic downtown area or make a trip up the cable car to Sugar Loaf Mountain. Alternatively you would be forgiven for spending your time sipping Caprhinias on the beautiful white sands of Copacabana Beach

Days 4-7 Amazon Rainforest

You’ll fly from Rio to Manaus which is the entry point for the Amazon Jungle. You’ll spend the night at the Tropical Hotel in Manaus before heading to Anavilhanas Lodge for three life changing nights.

Located deep in the heart of the jungle, you’ll be deep ‘into the unknown’. The hotel has a pool area with full board accommodation. You’ll have a daily program of excursions into the jungle with expert guides.

Day 8-10: Pantanal Wetlands

You will head back to Manaus and fly on to the Pantanal, a vast expanse of wetlands, thought of as the best place to spot wild animals in the whole of South America. Upon arrival at the airport you will be transferred by 4x4 vehicle to Araras Eco Lodge for 3 nights.

Your stay at the lodge includes full board and a daily programme of wildlife safaris into the Pantanal, with their expert guides. Will you be lucky and spot the jaguar?

Day 11: Rio de Janeiro

With a camera full of the amazing sights, you will fly to Rio for one final night at the 4* Porto Bay International. Spend your afternoon stocking up on your souvenirs or maybe topping up your tan on Ipanema Beach.

Day 12-13: Fly to the UK

You will head back to Rio de Janeiro airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.

The tour includes international economy flights from London Heathrow with British Airways (direct), internal economy flights, 11 night accommodation as detailed, all airport transfers, half day jeep tour to Corcovado & Tijuca Rainforest, full board (drinks excluded) and a programme of group excursions at Juma Lodge and Araras Eco Lodge.
