Lush green valley along the avenue of volcanoes, thermal baths, adventure activities, waterfalls, Pailon del Diablo, Baños is a small city in the Andean Highlands of Ecuador under the smoke of the active volcano Tungurahua.

The name ‘Baños’ which can be literally translated from Spanish as ‘baths’ originates from the famous hydrothermal springs in the area. It is known as the adventure Capital of Ecuador as you are able to take part in many activities such as bridge swinging, quad biking, water rafting, biking or trekking.

After a long day of activities, you can choose to relax at one of the thermal baths or get a coffee at one of the many cafes in Baños.

Baños is the key destination for wonderful activities however the town’s look and feel is quite different and unfamiliar with many tourists. Although, it will leave you with a huge grin on your face following days filled with amazing and thrilling adventures.
