Holidays to Iceland

The capital, Reykjavik, houses half the population of Iceland and is set on a broad bay, surrounded by mountains.  The city is a mixture of old wooden buildings and modern structures and along with many day time activities, it has a great night life.

Take a trip to the glaciers for ice-climbing, snow scooters and skiing.  The Blue lagoon, 50km out of Reykjavik, is also very popular.  The natural pool of geothermal water with in a lava field has a beneficial effect on the skin.  With the temperature staying about 35º C all year round, you’ll always be tempted to take a dip in the mineral rich waters.

The best time to visit Iceland is May to August as it is a mild 5-12º C as opposed to the cold, dark winters that drop below zero.
