"Found it a very expensive place. Enjoyed the whale watching trip and the Northern lights experience. " rating 7/10, 12th Nov 2010, Alex B
"it was beautiful, really peaceful, amazing scenery, countryside. The mountains, the landscapes, the really cuddly sheep. Walking on the glacier was spectacular. we didnt see the northern lights or whales. It's best to book Northern Lights at the beginning of the stay because sightings are dependent on weather so if weather is bad they can just book on the next day and so on till they get a spot. We changed our booking to go on earlier dates and then finally got a clear day but still saw nothing that day which was a shame. The nice thing about Iceland is the people are so friendly and laid back, very helpful and friendly. It's easy to book, reschedule tours, you can literally do it in the morning as long as you call before the bus comes to pick up the people from your hotel. Its really great. Our glacier walk got cancelled because of gale force winds and we just called and arranged another tour that morning, we went horse riding which was brilliant. " rating 9/10, 24th Oct 2009, Shatha K
"Very "neat and tidy" country but a bit expensive over there. With the problems with finance in Iceland recently should be a lot cheaper now" rating 7/10, 27th Dec 2007, Graham N
