Indonesia is a fascinating destination which offers so much to do.

Indonesia comprises of 17508 islands, two thirds of which are inhabited. The main islands are Java, Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Irian Jaya. Indonesia stretches across the equator from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific. Indonesia offers a selection of luxury hotels and resorts along beaches, on secluded mountains or in city centres across the centres across the country.

There are some great surfing beaches in places such as Bali, Java and Flores. Indonesia's coastline is reputed to contain 15% of the world's coral reef which makes it perfect for diving. Beginners can go wreck diving to Tulamben Wreck of East Bali.

If you would like to add a touch of excitement to your Indonesian retreat, then try trekking up an active volcano for a once in a lifetime experience. If this does not appeal to you then perhaps try visiting a dormant volcano on Nusa Tenggara Barat.
