The Paradis Hotel and Golf Club in Mauritius shares its setting on south-west Le Morne peninsula with the Dinarobin. The spectacular peninsula is surrounded by a calm, clear lagoon, a long, long strip of golden beach and the majestic mountain backdrop of Le Morne. The Paradis is slightly more upbeat than the Dinarobin - a perfect balance for sporting enthusiasts and those seeking sanctuary: an ambiance of elegance and quality alongside relaxation and privacy.
There is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course - in fact, golfers staying at Paradis can now take advantage of two recently-developed 18-hole courses, both located just 20 minutes drive from the hotel. At all courses, Paradis guests enjoy privileged tee-off times, a reduced green fee and VIP treatment.
Many other land and water sports are also available, of course, many of which are complimentary - including waterskiing. For those less energetic moments, there is seven kilometres beautiful beach along Le Morne peninsula and a pool with plenty of sun loungers. There are also plenty of other holiday activities to undertake elsewhere in Mauritius. From visiting sugar plantations to quad biking in the dormant volcanic landscape.
The Paradis offers one of the widest ranges of accommodation on the island, with 40 Superior and 60 Deluxd rooms (all rooms have air-conditioning and en-suite facilities as standard), including a furnished outside terrace or balcony. Superior rooms overlook the gardens and face the Lagoon; Deluxe rooms are situated closer to the beach and face the ocean.
There are 174 Junior Suites decorated in a nautical style using soft, neutral shades and a palette of marine blues. They are situated within elegant two and three-storey buildings in the gardens overlooking the ocean and main beach area. Each has an open-plan terrace or balcony.
As well as various Family Suites, there are four Club Suites in quiet locations overlooking the sea. They include a separate lounge area, an enormous bathroom with a whirlpool bath and double width balcony or terrace. First floor Club Suites have private stairs to the gardens and beach. Eight Senior Suites are located closest to the beach. They have a large bedroom and living room with wooden floors and luxury furnishings, an expansive dressing room, guest toilet, bathroom and a unique atrium style shower as well as double width balcony or terrace.
Finally, the Paradis offers 13 luxury private villas beautifully appointed right on the beach for convenience and seclusion. One is the Presidential Villa, with its own beachfront, easy and safe access to shallow bathing - ideal for young children and non-swimmers. A Villa at the Paradis also means butler service, an exclusive club car and, if you wish to dine in style, the private service of a Chef!
A shuttle bus runs between the Paradis and Dinarobin hotels every 20 minutes from 6.30 am to 2 am.
