The North and South Islands of New Zealand are breathtaking and have to be seen to be believed.
Experience snowcapped volcanoes, bubbling thermals, crystal clear lakes and dense rainforest all packed into two relatively small islands.

Mount Cook towers over this dramatic scenery and provides a paradise for people who enjoy outdoor pursuits. The variety of activities is superb as you can participate in everything from from trekking to whale-watching and from bungee jumping to wine tasting.
The fun isn't just restricted to inland. Around the coast there is plenty to see and do.

Matapouri beach in northland is worth visiting not least because of the gourmet fish and chips that northland is famous for serving up. Try their seasonal whitebate delicacy fresh from the sea, it's simply exquisite.
Another feature that New Zealand is famous for is its skiing while the northern hemisphere enjoys its summer.

The Cardrona ski fields offer a fantastic opportunity for people who want to ski or snowboard off season. The ski season in New Zealand runs from the end of June until the start of October. Cardrona has 320 hectares of slopes which consist of 25% learner runs, 55% intermediate and 20% advanced runs so there is something for everyone.
