When Captain Bligh sailed the HMS Bounty abroad to Tahiti in 1788 to collect breadfruit plants, the breathtaking beauty and warm hospitality of its people so entranced his crew, it resulted in the notorious "Mutiny on the Bounty".
When you visit it is easy to see why and to understand why this exotic holiday destination is known as the Queen of the Pacific.

Its secluded lagoons, crystal clear waters and friendly spirit has given rise to many other names as well such as Land of the Double Rainbows, Romantic Isle, Beloved Island, Land of Illusion and the Island of Love.
It is the largest of the 118 exotic islands that make up French Polynesia and is 402 square miles of luxurious and dramatic scenery.

It has the two highest mountain peaks in Polynesia reaching over 7000ft. Journey up as high as you dare to see the spectacular views below.
When travelling abroad to Tahiti you must see what Papeete has to offer. It is the capital of French Polynesia and is located on Tahiti's north coast. The beaches may be breathtaking but that's not its greatest quality....

Its greatest quality is its 220,000 welcoming locals who will welcome you with broad smiles and open arms. They will also offer some of the most luxurious accommodation on the planet.
However whatever destination you visit in Tahiti you are sure to fall under the same spell that the crew on the Bounty did!
