Room	9.0/10	The hotel is beautiful and the staff quite superb. However, the sea is not the cleanest and the coral reef just off shore allows very little safe swimming. Also a little dissapointing was the hotels policy of charging London prices for Thai products and services; a situation that the local staff clearly found embarrassing - charging a weeks salary for two drinks or a months salary for a meal. Other than some flowers on the bed, no attempt was made to acknowledge the fact that it was our honeymoon, even our 'seaview cottage' had one of the more restricted sea-views. Were it not for the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the surroundings and food, our honeymoon would have been a dissapointment. An example of the hotels profiteering attitude is when we went on a tour around the island, advertised as taking 4 hours. When the driver got us back 5 1/2 hours later, we were charged 50% extra by the hotel - either hire faster drivers or tell the truth in the first place.
