"We stayed 3 nights in Las Vegas followed by 9 nights in Hawaii finishing off with 2 nights in San Francisco on the way back. All 3 locations were great and all different in their own way. "We travelled to Chicago and Las V egas. Chicago was a clean, friendly and interesting city. Las Vegas was brash and in your face but somewhere that must be visited. "All over the US we received exceptional standards of customer service. We also stayed at the Yosemite Lodge which was good too. Not the same class as the other 2 but we expected that. "Loved it, very friendly people. LV is not child friendly and hotels are smoky. LV is an experience everyone should try, we loved the gambling, cocktails, the amazing (albeit tacky) hotels. LV is a building site though but doesn't detract. Do the Grand Canyon, hire a car (petrol under half price £17 for 270 miles in a 3 litre car) and do it the proper way.
