To start your Florida fun in the sun, fill out an enquiry form and our dedicated Florida experts will create the perfect holiday for you!

Orlando

For all the big kids and real kids out there, Orlando offers the perfect starting choice for this fly-drive. With the world famous Walt Disney World and Universal Studios lots you will absolutely have your hands-full of fantastic attractions. More than enough to handle, make sure you spend a few days here wisely.

Animal Kingdom, Epcot, waterparks and, of course, Magic Kingdom, one complex along would be enough. But wizarding with Harry Potter at Hogwart’s, saving the day with the Marvel superheroes and visiting the themed attractions of your favourite Hollywood blockbusters means there is never a dull moment!Gatorland, Legoland and SeaWorld all present viable alternatives to the more well-known facilities, but with no less substance.

Further afield is the Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex. Complete with a magnificent array of memorabilia, historic spacecrafts, exhibits and displays and a simulated ride into space. At nearly two million sq ft. the Florida Mall is huge, perhaps even requiring a whole day to fully scour, with souvenirs in abundance and the perfect chance to snafu a bargain.

Miami

Pass down through Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, hitting up any number from the Four Arts Gardens, Mar-A-Lago,  the Flagler Museum, Big Kapok Tree, the Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District and many more along the way. And then it’s the dynamic and diverse heights of Miami where the sights, sounds and cuisine are so varied, you won’t help but be spoilt for choice.

Home to many fashion shows, numerous symphonies and orchestras, and many other performing centres, it may come down to beach or no beach, Miami really does have it all to offer. Ultimately, the nightlife in Miami may be amongst the most vibrant and enticing in the world, with non-stop parties, raves and clubbing in all manner of styles at the forefront of everything Miami is about.

Key West

After partying hard, the more relaxed vibes of Key West will be a pleasant change of pace. The Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum in particular is a highlight, where he wrote several of his essential works. The Truman Annex or ‘Winter White House’ is another notable and to end your night, be sure to visit the famous Sloppy Joe’s Bar. Time it right, and you’ll be in town for one of several festivals throughout the year, each adding to the city’s charm.

Naples

Marco Island and the Ten Thousands Islands are worth a quick visit on your way back North, particularly for experienced kayakers or canioeists, as the Southern tips of the islands are prime water sports holiday locations. Then onto Naples, the self-titled ‘Golf Capital of the World’ with its more than 80 championship golf courses, allowing you to get more than a few rounds in.

Some of the cleanest, most well-preserved and immaculate beaches in the United States are here also, and the Naples Fishing pier is great for both angling and relaxing on. If you can squeeze it in, the Everglades Jetpack Adventures park offers you the chance to fly around the Naples bay area with water-propelled jetpacks! Absolutely as fun as it sounds.

Fort Myers – St. Petersburg

From the Calusa Nature Centre and Planetarium and Historic Downtown in Fort Myers to Mote Marine Laboratory and Sarasota Jungle Gardens in Sarasota, there are plenty of distractions to be found, breaking up the journey to Tampa. The Salvador Dali museum in St. Petersburg is another cultural highlight, with over 900 unique displays.

Tampa

Finally stop off in Tampa, where a visit to Busch Gardens, an African-themed animal theme park is a must. Continuing the animal subject, the Florida Aquarium and Lowry Park Zoo hold well over 20,000 species of plants and animals between them while the Tampa Bay History centre holds several millennia’s worth of exhibits.

International Plaza and Bay Street, WestShore Plaza, SoHo district, and Hyde Park Village offer ample opportunity to get some last minute shopping done with a vast collection of stores based in an upscale and pleasant area. For visitors between January and March, you will have the opportunity to join in the annual ‘Gasparilla Festival’ celebrations, including parades, shows and a mock pirate invasion.
