Tour Of New York State

An amazing opportunity to see the breathtaking sites of New York State. As well as the lights of New York City there are plenty of other things it has to offer from the music scene in Syracuse to a trip to Niagra Falls.

Place an enquiry and let one of our experienced New york State experts create a tour perfect for you!

New York City

Fly into The City that Never Sleeps and discover why it rightly earns that title. New York City will live up to its reputation and blow you away with everything it has to offer. Whether you want to shop 'til you drop, take in famous art galleries such as The Met, experience the music of Broadway or revel in the majesty of Central Park, there is something for everyone.

There is no other city in the world where you feel like you are on a film set with every step you take. Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State building, the list of famous buildings in New York is almost endless. However as every corner has its own individually and diversity you can take as much enjoyment from the simple pleasures such as a traditional New York breakfast in a local coffee shop as you do when you visit a major attraction.

Manhattan helicopter trips are a spectacular offering as you rise above the streets and get to swoop around the city. Being able to look the Statue of Liberty in the eye is an amazing experience!

Poughkeepsie

New York state doesn’t have to be all about NYC though. Head north and enjoy a change of pace with the much quieter pastures of Poughkeepsie, The Queen City of the Hudson. The home of The Culinary Institute of America, fine dining is guaranteed whichever way you look. With their throwback style, Main Mall Row is a group of adjoining commercial buildings in a Renaissance Revival style that were added to the National Register of Historic Places. Still in use as shops today, they are definitely worth a visit.

Albany

From here you will head up to the state capital Albany. Take a leisurely cruise along the Hudson, taking in the sights and sounds of the more relaxed side of New York. You can also absorb some history with a visit to America’s first Shaker settlement, enjoy the excitement of the Altamont Fairgrounds or join a tour – and tasting! – of many of Albany’s wineries and distilleries.

Syracuse

Heading further up, is the lively modern city of Syracuse. The Niagara Mohawk Building is one of many stunning works of architecture worth seeing and for rock and alternative fans, Syracuse is home to a vibrant local music scene. Catch a live gig while you can, many of the bands here are on their way to greatness!

Rochester

Once ranked as “the most livable city” in the US, Rochester is another quiet slice of life away from NYC. Home to a couple of notable specialty dishes, save room for a white hot hot dog and a Rochester Garbage Plate; greasy goodness! The city is also home to the world’s photography museum; George Eastman House, which is also one of the world’s oldest film archives. Definitely a visual treat.

Buffalo

Heading over to the western side of New York, you’ll enjoy a stop in Buffalo. Located at the head of the Niagara River and across from Fort Erie, Canada, you will absolutely have to make time for a trip up the river to the Falls.

While there, riding the Maid of the Mist is a definitive experience that you won’t regret… but you will probably get a little bit wet! Authentic Buffalo wings will have to be on the menu whilst there; maybe you can even find out the real origin story! Something of a novelty, but a popular attraction nonetheless, is Edward M. Cotter, the longest serving fireboat in the US. Buffalo is also home to one of the largest outdoor Shakespeare festivals in the United States, Shakespeare in Delaware Park.
