The Matemwe Retreat is a modern resort located on a fantastic stretch of private land looking over the stunning Mnemba Atoll.

Matemwe has 3 fabulous villas overflowing with personal touches. For example you will find an individual cocktail bar on the ground floor of each villa. There are double basins in the bathroom and a large bathtub with Indian Ocean views. Each villa also has its own plunge pool on its own private roof terrace. It's simply incredible. Your own terrace also has its own sun and shade decks.

Finally each villa at the Matemwe has a its own small beach for you to walk out on to.

To match the stunning setting is the stunning service. You can have breakfast served on your own private veranda and every day the chef or the manager will drop in to discuss your preferences for lunch and dinner. You can even have the catch of the day served up in your garden or roof terrace. If you want to be more sociable you can of course others for dinner at Matemwe's main lodge.
