Kuramathi Cottage & Spa was one of the first Maldivian islands to build water bungalows which are now superb. The resort itself is one of three resorts on the island of Kuramathi and enjoys its own private pier. Managed by Universal Resorts, Kuramathi Cottage & Spa is a very well run, superior medium class hotel.

One side of the island is protected by a large shallow sandy lagoon, which is perfect for swimming and on the other side the coral reef is very close and ideal for snorkelling and diving.

Kuramathi Cottage & Spa has a good choice of restaurants and bars. On site there is also a new and luxurious spa where you can pamper yourself. In the centre of the island there is a delightful swimming pool and pool bar.

A wide range of sporting activities are available for active guests including a tennis court, windsurfing and even catamaran sailing lessons. The island also houses an excellent PADI dive centre.
