Located in the Tsavo West National Park, one of the larger parks in Kenya. Enjoy a variety of landscapes from swamps to natural springs and rocky peaks, the dramatic scenery, diverse habitat and rich history will have you captivated from your first step into the park.

Luxury Tented Accomodation

Enjoy a mix of elegance and luxury in these fantastic luxury tents. All tented accomodation can enjoy indoor and outdoor showers, copper bathtubs and delicate white linens.

Tents are decorated exquisitely boasting hardwood writing tables, opulent chandeliers and ornately carved chests. There are three different types of tented accomodation to choose at Finch Hattons:

Guest Suites- These suites are designed with an elevated deck so you can enjoy the surrounding views of the camps water hole and the nearby hippo pools. Amenities include his & hers basins, pillow menu, WiFi, laundry service and room fans to ensure a cool night's sleep.

Two Bedroom Suites- These suites boast two bedrooms complete with lounge area, perfect for relaxing after a game drive. The private deck complete with outdoor seating area is the best place to enjoy the spectacular views.

The Finch Hatton's Suite- The most luxurious accomodation at Finch Hattons. Guests can enjoy a bedroom and separate lounge area, heated plunge pool, pantry, butler service and a separate nanny room. The suite also includes a private chef with no additional cost.

Food & Wine

The camps famous cuisine is prepared by a team of expert chefs with a passion for cooking the highest standard of food.

Enjoy indulgent seven course dinners accompanied by excellent wine served on fine china and cut crystal. Al fresco lunches and candlelit dinners can also be arranged at various locations throughout the park.

For a pre-dinner cocktail or nightcap choose from one of the relaxing bars and lounges throughout the camp;

Star Gazing Terrace- Laze under the spectacular African sky with a selection of cocktails and spirits on offer.

Karen Blixen Lounge- Enjoy the opulent decor in this luxurious lounge with a wide variety of drinks to choose from.

Activities

Tsavo Game Drives- Game drives normally last 2-3 hours and commence either early morning or late afternoon (when the big five game animals are most active.) Using open game viewing vehicles you can enjoy sights of the African landscape including the wide range of flora and fauna and wildlife that live in the surrounding area.

IItilal Cultural Visits- Enjoy a cultural visit to the local Masai tribe. The tribe will show you around their village and allow you a glimpse of their daily lives, from milking cows to building their Manyatta houses.

Little Explorers Club- An area dedicated to children on safari. Children can enjoy activities such as bush survival skills and guided walks to learn about the flora and fauna in the surrounding area. Children will also learn how to identify footprints and make their own bows and arrows.

Bird Watching- Home to more than 500 species of bird, Tsavo is a haven for bird enthusiasts. Several species of bird can be found around the hippo pools and surrounding areas of the camp.

Guided Bushwalks- With an experienced guide to accompany you, learn the history of the surrounding land and the flora and fauna that can be found around this area.

Chylulu Spa and Wellness Centre- The camp boasts an impressive spa complete with stunning views of the Chylulu Hills. Choose from a variety of relaxing treatments, the spa pool is the perfect place to unwind afterwards.

Yoga- Relax and energise with a yoga class surrounded by nature.
