Kuramathi Island Resort
Visited in November 2010
I was really looking forward to seeing this Island but must say it wasn’t one of my favourites, I stayed in a Jacuzzi Water Villa and they were very nice but so difficult to get into the sea as the steps changed to metal at the bottom and they were hard on the feet and quite slippery.
I saw the other room types and although they were all quite pleasant I felt that the Island was too large for my personal preference (there is even a mini bus that runs through the middle of the island), it does have lots to offer with the choices of restaurants and bars with nightlife.

It is fabulous for those who feel they would be bored on a smaller island.

I would definitely recommend seaplane transfers on arrival as it’s a long journey 90 minutes on a large speedboat after an international flight..
