Honeymoon: South Africa & Zanzibar

Our holiday was fantastic. We both had a great time. Idube was definitely the highlight. The staff were so friendly and very professional. We saw 5 out of the big six animals which included a rare sighting of wild dog pups. We saw you photo album which was proudly on display in the Idube lounge area.
Zanzibar was very relaxing, just what we needed after waking up at 5:30am in the morning for three days. Liz and I went snorkeling and did a tour of the old stone town.
Thanks very much for organizing our holiday for us. Everyone run very smoothly and both Liz and I had a great time with many memories to look back on.

I just thought I would drop you a note to thank you and all your team for the great arrangements you made on behalf of Maira and I.
The whole trip was wonderful from start to finish and the trips that were arranged were wonderful.
I have to say that the flight in the jet was the best thing I have every done with my clothes still on.
We had a great time on safari and the people that run the facility were really nice to us both and made our trip there one of the best parts of our trip.

Hi Yvonne,
We had an absolutely wonderful time and the staff are so friendly and helpful but not over the top. Jalousie is easily the best located and most beautiful resort on the island and would go as far to say nicer than Jade Mountain, which we saw whilst we were there.
We got put in one of the old villas when we arrived, which we didn’t even realise. They phoned after 30 minutes to say they’d made a mistake with the room but wouldn’t be able to move us until the Monday. No problem, they refunded us the difference and then upgraded us to their number one villa on the resort, which is one up from what we’d paid for. The villa was wonderful, even the one we’d paid for which was next door to us, and located in a little hamlet style cul de sac that had a butler assigned to those staying in the hamlet.
Anyway, a marvelous time was had and very much appreciate your time and patience in helping us get the holiday just right!
Thanks again and will definitely be looking to book with you again!

I just want to say a massive Thank You for all your help, planning and patience in organising the most wonderful experience that was South Africa, the Wedding, Safari and Mauritius. Everything went extremely well. The weather on the wedding day itself was gorgeous, but a little too windy to have the ceremony outside, although the marquee was an equally beautiful venue and the 12 Apostles more than lived up to your recommendations. I have to admit that the part I was least looking forward to was the safari but I'm so glad you convinced me to include it - it was a once in a lifetime experience and we met some great people as well as dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. And of course we saw all of the Big Five and more... Generally, the standard of service in South Africa was exceptional and far better than anything I could have hoped for were we to have got married in the UK. My only regret is that the part in Cape Town wasn't long enough (what with finalising the wedding plans and spending time with the family) so unfortunately we didn't get time to climb Table Mountain or visit Robben Island. However this has only reinforced the fact that I want to go back for our first anniversary so you never know, I may be enlisting your help again before long...!

The holiday arrangements were absolutely PERFECT, we couldn't have wished for better. All of my party are fairly well travelled & couldn't fault anything, & the little extras, ie. water & freshening towels, flowers when we left, just made it that much sweeter. Kenya & Zanzibar Holiday

We had a wonderful holiday and we will certainly be returning to Africa in the future.
The friendliness of the people completely disarmed me, the food and accommodation was excellent, all the travel arrangements worked fine plus we had fine weather and no health problems.
Although it was Zanzibar that I really wanted to go to on this holiday, and it is a fascinatingly beautiful place, I think Kenya and the Masai Mara was the most enjoyable for me.
There were very few other tourists in Kenya and I am please to report that we experienced no problems. In fact for our last night we were the only two at Keekorok Lodge and although it was quite lonely in the dining room we did have our own personal chef!
Thank you for your help in arranging this holiday, we shall be in touch again.

Honeymoon: South Africa
Ah, Yvonne,
What a wonderful job you have done of giving us three of the best weeks of our lives.
The Twelve Apostles, as well as being hugely beautiful and picturesque, was a laid back and extremely soothing place in which to relax after the hecticness of getting married, and was the perfect place whence to explore Cape Town, without feeling like we were actually in a city. Being Londoners, we appreciate the green and open spaces and 12A was ideal, scented, as it is, by the fynbos that surrounds it. We saw a tortoise in the wild behind the hotel on our first day. It turned out that that was a good omen for wildlife sightings and non-city-based experiences.
Spier too was charming - I still salivate thinking of the Moyo wild boar casserole (they put cinnamon in it: yummy) - and both Clare and I fell in love with approximately four cheetahs each.
Our particular favourite, though, was Mont Rochelle. Not only were we staggered by the panoramic views of the valley and the clouds rolling off the mountains, but we felt completely at home there. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff there, amongst whom Heidi, Sean, Peter and Junedray were especially kind. They treated us with much care and as friends.
Finally: Savanna. We saw four lions, a leopard hunting kudu at close range, rhino galore and buffalo within three hours of our first day alone. And on our last day we saw seven lion cubs, which was my personal highlight of the entire trip. It was extremely comfortable and for everything, but for game viewing particularly (our ranger, the lovely Patrick, talked to the animals) I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I could have reached out and touched that leopard, and we even saw a cheetah.
In fact, all in all, it could not have been a better trip. All our connections worked sublimely and without any stress at all on our part, leaving us free to just enjoy ourselves. I am only sorry it is now over.
Every hotel made a huge fuss of us, putting flower petals, fizz and presents in our room, with sweet congratulatory messages. They obviously were all aware it was our honeymoon and accorded us suitable privacy and care. Our photos are wonderful and mostly depict one or the other of us with our nose in a glass of something delicious. Thank you so so much for all the work you put into making this our holiday of a lifetime. I would not hesitate to recommend holidays please to anyone at all and hope to be able to book with you again.

I can't believe that the wedding and the honeymoon is all over.
I just wanted to say a big thank you for helping us book such a wonderful honeymoon. The weather was perfect, the Vietnamese people are great and the country is fantastic. The hotels were amazing and we would definitely recommend the Halong Bay trip. We had such a funny time. There were only 7 of us on the boat and 5 were from Korea; only one of them could speak English. By the end of the night we were all so drunk you would have thought we had been friends for years and Sol thought he was fluent in Korean because we all seemed to understand each other.

Mauritius: Holiday

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier about our holiday in Mauritius at the Trou Aux Biche Hotel.
The hotel and location were brilliant and the transfer bus from the airport to the hotel was comfortable with only one other drop off before our hotel.
It really was a beautiful place to visit and we had a fantastic holiday. The accommodation was kept spotless and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The watersports were great fun and the beach crew were encouraging and supportive towards us when we tackled watersports we had not tried before.
The rooms we had were not as we had expected, in that our two rooms were not both downstairs. But as it turned out it was fine and the children enjoyed their independence!
The holiday was just what we all needed - so thank you for finding us such a fantastic place.

Sorry I should have replied to you a lot sooner.
Anyway I loved Thailand it was precisely what I needed to get away from it all and relax for two weeks. Bangkok is amazing. There is so much to see and to do and at least to me it felt exotic and alien but it a very good way. Pattaya was also splendid. Its a bit of a party town that is for sure. I had a marvellous time. I'm sure I enjoyed it more than I would have some of the other beach resorts we talked about that are more couple orientated. Its got the beach by day and the bars by night which is precisely what I needed. The flights were all on time and absolutely fine and the transport to and from the airport and between Bangkok and Pattaya was great. Its much better to have that sorted out than try and arrange it on arrival at the airport.
Put me down for next Oct! I'm pretty sure I'll be giving you a call to arrange it for me in a few months time. I'd have no hesitation about recommending you to others and I'd like to say a big thank you for arranging it all for me.

How are you doing. Will be looking to go away again in either jan/February. Nothing definite and open to suggestions but considering safari/beach in Kenya or maybe see a bit of Brazil.
The Sarojin in Thailand was superb. Best place we have stayed I would say. Little touches like deli meats in the fridge and a wine rack in the room made it even more special. Nice area around it too, largely untouched by tourists. Took out a few of the trips which were luxurious too!
– much preferred it to phi phi – which although was beautiful and had a great beach you felt you could have been anywhere. A bit too quiet too for more than a few days.

Yes, we had a wonderful holiday, more so for Mike because he had been there before. I loved the resort although the room we had was a bit basic. My particular dislike was the fact that the birds were everywhere, flying about in the restaurant (there were no doors and walls just a thatch roof) picking up food from the servery and pecking at people's leftovers ugh! I'm not a bird fan anyway, so Mike was on constant bird alert!!!
On a more positive note, the pool and surrounding areas, the grounds, the proximity to the sea------fantastic!!!.
The staff were very courteous and couldn't do enough for us, but then we were very nice to them too.
I came away with a new trouser suit and skirt (made by the tailor who visits the hotel every Friday evening) and Mike had a pair of trousers made.
We're glad that we had a car for 4 days which enabled us to go to Vacoas where Mike was stationed with the Navy in the 70's.
