You will begin your holiday in Chile in the capital of the country, Santiago. Enjoy the gardens, boutiques and thriving restaurant scene before heading to the amazing Atacama Desert. The itinerary then moves to the south of Chile and the beautiful Lake District before finishing in magical Southern Patagonia and the Torres del Paine National Park.

Day 1 - 3 : Santiago
Fly overnight from the UK to Santiago for 2 nights in the capital city of Chile. You will stay at the brand new Hotel ‘The Singular’ which is centrally located in the Providencia area and offers easy access to all of Santiago’s central attractions.
Enjoy a fascinating half day private city tour on your first morning and learn about the fascinating multi-cultural history of Chile which has shaped what the country has become today. You will also head up the San Cristobal hill for a great view over the city. Your guide will also suggest great places to see with the rest of your time.
With the rest of your time in the city you could discover one of the cities many parks, art galleries or museums. In the evenings there is a thriving restaurant scene in Santiago and Bellavista square is a great place to find some great cuisine.
Day 4 - 6 : Atacama Desert
Fly from Santiago to Calama to discover the Atacama Desert – the highest, driest desert in the world. You will spend 3 nights at the 5* Alto Atacama in the town of San Pedro de Atacama. Located in a valley just 2km out of town, Alto Atacama is a beautiful hotel, built to fit in seamlessly with the surrounding red rock mountains.
The hotel has huge grounds which contain 6 pools and their own pack of Llamas. The hotels accommodation and services are first rate including an exquisite restaurant and luxurious Spa. The hotel runs a free shuttle into town.
Your stay at Also Atacama is on an all-inclusive basis and includes a daily programme of excursions into the desert with their expert guides.
Day 7 - 10 : Chilean Lake District
You will head back to Calama and fly on to Puerto Montt for the Chilean Lake District (1 connection in Santiago). Upon arrival you will be transferred to the lake side town of Puerto Varas and the Hotel Las Cumbres. Just a short walk from town, Las Cumbres offers superb views over Lake Llanquihue and on to the Osorno Volcano.
On your first day you will join a full day private tour to the beautiful Chiloe Island. After taking the ferry across you will continue to the bay of Ancud. There you will take time to explore the community, the local craft and fish market and the famous San Antonio fortress. If it is within the season, you will then continue to see the Penguin Colony at Punihuil Cove.
With the rest of your time in the Lakes you may decide to enjoy one of the many adventure activities on offer or just relax and admire the view!
Day 11 - 13 : The Singular Patagonia & Torres del Paine
Today you will fly onto Punta Arenas in the depths of Southern Patagonia. From here you will be transferred to ‘The Singular Patagonia’ which is located on the banks of Golfo Almirante Montt.
The Singular is a very unique hotel which was formerly a cold storage plant built in the early 20th Century. Today the building has been extensively restored and transformed into a spectacular hotel that embraces the history and culture of the area.
The hotel offers over 20 different excursions which are included - including ones to Torres del Paine. The National Park is a 60 minute, scenery-rich drive from The Singular and the expert guides know its contours and crevices like the back of their hand so can offer a fantastic insight into this dazzling landscape.
However, at The Singular, you'll not only get to know the Torres Del Paine Park, but the real Patagonia and those seldom-seen treasures that can only be found a little off the beaten path.
Day 14 : Santiago
With a camera full of the amazing sights, you will fly to Santiago for one final night at the The Singular Santiago. You could spend your last afternoon stocking up on last minute souvenirs at the craft markets.
Day 15 - 16 : Fly to UK
You will head back to Santiago airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
