Glaciares National Park

Situated in the southwest area of Argentina’s Santa Cruz Province, the Glaciares National Park is home to the famous Perito Moreno and Mount Ritz Roy. This World Heritage site boasts lakes and woods, as well as a section of the Andes Mountain range.

The Glaciares National Park, like its name suggests, has plenty of glaciers. On the Ice Caps, there are roughly 47 huge glaciers. Unattached to the Ice Caps, there are over 200 smaller glaciers. These icy structures are not the only spectacle on display. Lake Argentino is 160km in length and is the largest freshwater lake in the whole of Argentina. The beauty of the park is unlike anywhere else in the world.

You can embark on a tour of all the best sites in Glaciares National Park. You can see all there is to see in 5 days, which includes ice hiking on Perito Moreno and going to a viewing platform for excellent views of Mount Fitz Roy. If you’re a fan of the great outdoors, you can camp each night. If a hotel is preferred, then that can be arranged, too. See the highlights of the park in a trip to remember!

Place an enquiry today and one of our travel specialists will be in touch about your trip to Glaciares National Park.
