The Blue Train is the best way to explore the sole of South Africa. This experience is like no other and begins before you even embark on your journey. Your first class adventure starts at The Blue Train private lounge at the station either in Cape Town or Pretoria, where you are greeted by staff that escort you into their exclusive seating area, also taking your luggage that will be delivered directly to your cabin. The accommodation on board is like no other, providing modern yet old-fashioned elegance to their rooms. The De Luxe Suite transforms from a spacious lounge where you can relax in the day in the comfort of a remarkably cozy single sofa, to a bedroom fit for the royals with 100% cotton bed sheets, under floor heating and air conditioning for those muggy nights. All rooms have an en suite and television so why not watch a nice movie in bed when the sun goes down. Furthermore some of the rooms contain a double bed for those who like to snuggle or just want a bit more space. This room is extra special as it has a bath tub whereas the twin rooms have a shower.

The Luxury Suites take the De Luxe suite a step further with some of the same features, yet the rooms are bigger with a choice of twin or double bed suites. Every room has even more luxurious en suites that are marble and gold with an extended bath tub. This beautiful suite transforms to a bed time haven. Each luxury room has a private television with a selection of latest movies on DVD and a variety of CD’s for music lovers. All Suites are fitted with free WIFI and a telephone.
