The next day, you'll have the opportunity to choose one of these three activities, to experience this incredible place in just the way you want.

Cultural Experience - Quito Colonial Centre

Beautiful Quito is a city of rich history and narrow cobblestone street lined with whitewashed walls and, rising above, the steeples and cupolas of its many spectacularly decorated churches. This walking tour is the best way to discover the charm and beauty of the capital.

Adventure Experience - Quito Teleferico

Quito lies at around 2,800 metres but if you want to go higher to enjoy stunning views of the city ride the Teleferico up to over 4,000 metres for an unforgettable experience and unique picture moments.

Unique Experience - Intinan Museum on the Equator

In what capital of the world can you stand in both hemispheres? In Quito’s Ciudad Mitad del Mundo you can! Enjoy this unique experience of learning about the indigenous cultures and carrying out experiments on either side of the equator.

La Casona de la Ronda – Meals: Breakfast

Days 3 & 4 – Cotopaxi

Markets are an intrinsic part of Ecuadorian culture and this is where locals buy most of their supplies. You will visit a typical market and will stop for a gentle hike at Pita waterfall before reaching your accommodation lodge just outside Cotopaxi National Park.

Be prepared for amazing landscapes and one of the most beautifully symmetrical volcanoes in the world! Weather permitting you will be able to see the perfect snow-capped summit and if you wish, can undertake the 2 hours hike to Cotopaxi’s J. Ribas refuge at 4,800 metres.

Chilcabamba Lodge – Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Days 5 & 6- Isabela, Galapagos Islands

Fly to Baltra Island, the gateway to the Galapagos, and transfer to Santa Cruz Island for a visit to the highlands. Here you have opportunities to spot endemic birds such as Darwin’s Finches, Galapagos Doves and Cattle Egret, as well as admiring Giant Tortoises roaming in the wild.

After your excursion, you will take a speedboat to Isabela Island for a 2-night stay.  The largest island in the archipelago, Isabela offers not only a wealth of different wildlife species but also some of the most dramatic landscapes.

The next day, be ready for one of the most unforgettable days as you will spend it exploring Isabela’s highlands. Hike up to the crater of the Sierra Negra Volcano followed by a trek along the rim of Volcan Chico. The otherworldly landscapes will appear to be utterly desolate, however, you will encounter plenty of wildlife and enjoy amazing views of Isabela and its neighbouring islands. A deserved relaxing break on the beaches of Puerto Villamil will await at the end of the day.

Albemarle Hotel - Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Days 7 & 8 - Santa Cruz, Galapagos Islands

This morning take a tour of Tintoreras, a small islet off the south of Isabela. Here you may spot white-tipped sharks, sea lions, turtles, rays and penguins, and enjoy a snorkelling opportunity in the bay.

Take the speedboat back to Santa Cruz Island and visit the renowned Charles Darwin Research Centre, where Galapagos' most important conservation projects are carried out.

Your accommodation for the next two nights is in a unique property with raised safari tents and treehouses, in a privileged elevated position in the highlands with fantastic views.

The next day, embark a comfortable motor yacht and enjoy an excursion to one of the nearby islands. The expert crew will welcome you aboard and a knowledgeable naturalist guide will offer deep insights into the natural history of the islands.
