This is a safari with a difference, a trip to one of the most solitude and unusual areas on the planet.

Skeleton Coast is a largely unexplored paradise of wide open spaces. The area is un-developed and lacking any kind of civilisation. What makes it so beautiful? Man has tampered with much of the world, but this 1000 mile stretch is 75% protected within parks and reserves.

The name comes from the treacherous shoreline, which is littered with ship-wrecks and whale bones. Skeleton Coast has everything from roaring sand dunes, windswept plains, towering canyons, salt pans, seal colonies, shipwrecks and even one of the most productive fishing grounds anywhere.

Fresh water springs are found in the sands and create a rare oasis in the desert sustaining wildlife.

Skeleton Coast is a once in a lifetime experience. A major feature of the safari is the use of an aircraft as a "safari vehicle". Landing at regular intervals, guests are provided views of magnificent spectacles and the diverse and ever-changing geological formations.

The refuges of desert-dwelling animals such as the endangered black rhino and desert-adapted elephant will be viewed on the safari. Additionally guests are taken on excursions by vehicle and introduced to the scenic and ecological aspects of the environment with its wide diversity of flora and fauna.
