KUREDU ISLAND RESORT

Location: Situated on the Lhaviuani Atoll, 80 miles from Malé airport, Kuredu Island Resort is one of the most popular in the Maldives so early booking is essential. This could become a great diving experience if that is what you are looking for in Maldives.

Access: 40 minutes by seaplane or four hours by speedboat. Speedboat transfers are included in the five night package. Please ask for seaplane transfer costs.  A great place for diving.

Accommodation: Accommodation is split between two resorts: cosy Beach Bungalows and more luxurious Beach Villas line the beach and have definite castaway appeal. To the west of the island, the Sangu Resort is home to Jacuzzi Beach Villas, which include a Jacuzzi and walled garden whereas the romantic and idyllic Water Villas and Suites are individually built with sundeck access to the lagoon. Sangu Resort guests benefit from a separate check-in and an exclusive bar and restaurant.

Facilities: Guests enjoy a wide range of dining options. Bonthi and Coamas is the island's signature restaurant serving a variety of buffet meals. There is also a barbecue, and Italian and Asian cuisine are on offer. Superb sports facilities include a fully-equipped gym, an aerobics room and a driving range. Equipment and lessons for windsurfing, diving, sailing and kite boarding are available, and the spa is the perfect place to unwind.
