Is any money guaranteed?

As it is a commission only arrangement there is no guaranteed income as such. However our unique lead guarantee means that you will always have enough leads to give you the opportunity to earn a very good living.

How do I physically book the holidays?

We will install all the usual travel agent software on your computer so you can have access to all the latest prices and information. You use the viewdata system that we have and access to our suppliers online booking engines. Of course you will also be able to contact suppliers by telephone as well and remember we pay the phone bill!

Can I choose my own hours?

Yes, although we recommend at least 30 hours a week to make it worth your while. For example leads can go cold if they are left unattended for days.

When is commission credited? Is it when the customer books or when they pay?

50% of the commission is paid at the end of the month following the sale. The remaining 50% is held by Holidaysplease and is paid to you at the end of the month when the customer travels.

How often do I get paid?

At the end of each month we add up all the commission due to you. We pay you on the 25th day of the month immediately following by direct debit into your bank.

What happens if the customer does not pay?

If the customer cancels and Holidaysplease has to refund the booking then any commission already paid to you is debited from your commission due. However where commission is still earned by Holidaysplease on any cancellation charge then you will still be credited with the appropriate proportion of this cancellation commission. We have a very low cancellation rate so this is not usually a problem.

Do I get to go on educationals?

Yes, we get the same opportunities as other travel agents and are happy for our homeworkers to take them.

How long does it take to set up?

A maximum of 4 weeks. We work hard to ensure that the set up process is as quick as it can be so that you can be selling holidays with Holidaysplease as soon as possible!

What experience do I need?

You must worked for at least 2 years out of the past 5 in an ABTA registered travel agent and you must have booked at least £5m worth of holidays during your career.
