Buenos Aires

Spend a few days exploring what Buenos Aires has to offer. Visit the modern waterfront neighbourhood of Puerto Madero for amazing food. Whether in the mood for spicy food, indulgent cocktails or French food the Puerto Madero has it all.

Buenos Aires is the home of tango dancing; why not indulge in a few lessons while there? If you want to leave it to the professionals you can watch a tango show over a traditional Argentine meal.

To see some of Argentina’s artistic offerings Visit Malba: Colección Costantini to see famous works by the likes of Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Tarsila do Amaral and enjoy a relaxed lunch at their terrace restaurant.

El Calafate & El Chalten

Known as the hiking capital of Argentina, El Calafate and El Chalten have some amazing walks on offer.

For jaw-dropping scenery go hiking in the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares and visit the serene waters of Laguna Capri. See turquoise lakes and sprawling glaciers unlike anything you have seen before.

With a number of small hills around the lake it’s the perfect place to get different photographic vantage points of the area. Get a boat tour to Glaciar Viedma and take an ice trek up a glacier to take advantage of the stunning views of the park.

As well as hiking there are also activities such as Fishing, mountain biking and horseback riding.

Puerto Natales

Puerto Natales is the gateway to Parque Nacional Torres Del Paine, one of South Americas finest parks. The granite pillars of Torres Del Paine (towers of pain) dominate the park, rising 2000m over the Patagonian steppe. The park contains roaring rivers, emerald forests and radiant blue glaciers to explore.

The Park is home to a variety of wildlife such as flamingos, Andean condor and the ostrich-like rhea. The park has a growing puma population and the numbers of endangered Andean deer have also increased.

The park is famous for its ‘W’ trek which allows you to enjoy hiking in magnificent scenery whilst also able to sleep in comfortable beds, taking showers, eating hot meals and even drinking cocktails.

Santiago

To finish off your trip why not stop by Santiago, the Plaza De Armas is the heart and soul of Santiago, the plaza contains a variety of sculptures, fountains and lush trees.

Perfect for a lazy afternoon stroll in the sunshine. Santiago Cathedral is one of the most stand out buildings on the Plaza displaying some of Chile’s beautiful architecture.

Barrio Lastarria is an upscale bohemian neighbourhood with art galleries and a great mix of bars and restaurants. Take a walk around Parque Forestal with its manicured gravel paths and iconic lampposts and take in the beautiful art deco buildings that line the park.

Visit the Emporio La Rosa a deli offering al fresco lunches and some of the best ice cream in Santiago, on a Saturday the flea market takes over Lastarria offering antiques, books and art perfect for a souvenir of your trip.
