"Fantastic place to go, people very welcoming and friendly. It pays to Barter with stalls and taxis as significant reductions are often negotiated. There is currently an extra Tax on alcohol in Bali (which is currently being contested)does make it expensive. "Singapore was very clean and the people were really friendly would easily go back again although 3-4 days is easily the right amount of time to spend there. Bali was beautiful and it was lovely to stay up in the mountains and then on the beach. "Could'nt fault the place or the people, they can't do enough for you. We went on several trips around the island and where ever we went the people were so friendly and welcoming. "We are both scuba divers so we went to the north of Bali (3 hours by car) and and Island to te East of Bali called Nusa Penida (1 hour by boat). From our travels, we also visit Kuta I would say the people are genuinely friendly who know what benefits promoting tourism will bring to the country (I just hope they don't go to far)." rating 9/10, 3rd Aug 2007, Dave H
"amazing hotels. The Maya Ubud was out of this world. amazing view of the river at the back of the hotel and ideally loacted in the art district of Bali. stunning food and rooms. amazing service. The Legian Club hotel was even better. the villa was amazing so much so that it moved my new wife to tears in that she had never been anywhere so amazing. again exceptional service and our personal butler putra was more than accomodating. please be sure to tip handsomly as all the hotel staff are efficient freindly and go above and beyond the call of duty for the guests." rating 10/10, 29th May 2007, Mitesh D
