Maldives “weather” is a pretty endless summer. There is warm weather throughout the year and a tremendous amount of sunshine, earning this remarkable nation of islands’ reputation as tropical paradise.
December to April is mostly dry and is notable for clear skies and very little wind. May to September brings a little rain and regular breezes that keep the otherwise humid air moving nicely. Like other aspects of weather in the beautiful Maldives, the temperature varies little, too. The hottest month on average is April, which occasionally reaches 35 degrees C.
