With growing popularity Oman is a great holiday destination and our Oman holiday advice below will help you get the most out of your visit.
Most choose to visit Oman during October through to March as temperatures and humidity outside of these times can be extreme. June to September is the rainy season and Ramadan is best avoided for most as no eating, drinking or smoking in public places is permitted.
A variety of activities are available in Oman and these include Watersports such as Scuba diving at great dive spots such as Musandam and the bays of Bandar al Jissah. PADI courses are available throughout as are catamaran cruises, turtle watching, trekking, rock climbing and horseback riding.
Typhoid and Hepatitis A vaccinations are recommended along with the use of mosquito repellent with more detailed advice available from your doctor.
