Fundu Lagoon in Tanzania is a remote and very peaceful resort. Uniquely it is only accessible by boat.

It is right on a beautiful beach in the south west corner of Pemba Island. Fundu is privately owned so you get that extra special personal touch. It is run with a love for the natural environment. I suppose you could describe it as chic but without the pretention.

It is very tasteful with wooden walkways that lead through sandy paths to sixteen Makuti thatched-tented room suites. You will find that all of the suites are spacious with jaw dropping views of the ocean.

You will fine that the Funu Lagoon resort belnds in effortlessly with the natural surroundings. You will also find that the facilities are some of the best in the region.
