Family ski holidays
A family skiing holiday can be one of the most enjoyable holidays for a family to travel on. Sitting around the dinner table regaling tales of how ski and snow combined during the day can be great fun. Especially if the skiing tales are not entirely true!

You need to assess the children’s skiing abilities and find a resort that has runs that cater for all. It is also important to find a chalet or hotel that is very near the slopes and the ski school. Children do not enjoy carrying skis around!
And contrary to popular opinion young children skiing holidays do exist. For example there are ski resorts that have crèches and kindergartens (from 6 months old), to ski schools for ages 3 years and above. You will find the younger they are the quicker they are to learn and the less they mind falling over! They have had a lot of practice!
