They call it the greatest outdoor show in the world! Spend a phenomenal 10 days at the highly recommended Calgary Stampede, Alberta. Having recently celebrated 100 years of stampede, Calgary has more than doubled in population over the years and is an amazing tribute to the Western way of life.

A great summer escape for all the family, begin the day watching the 3 hour parade of bands from all over the world, western themed floats and plenty of horses taken to the streets, soak in the carnival atmosphere and high energy party vibes. For those who wish to escape to a more low key area there is plenty to do around the city.

Visit the exhibition grounds view the arts, crafts and photography, agricultural exhibitions and fun fair for the children. Many of the stalls are home grown by the Calgarian youths who take part to share their passion with the world.

By day the main attraction is the rodeo event, taking you back to the days of Stetsons and cowboy boots. In the grandstand discover the bull riding cowboys, steer wrestling shows and evening entertainment, Chuck Wagon racing and free stage shows for all.
