The Hong Kong Museum of History is located in Tsimshatsui district of Hong Kong.

The permanent exhibition of this museum shows 'The Story of Hong Kong,' which portrays in the natural ecology, local customs, historical developments and traditional culture.

The Museum currently has over 45,000 objects in its collections, which are divided into archaeological, local history, people's history, and natural history. Archival photographs are an important historical resource and the Museum’s collection is rich in these, with the earliest dating back to the 1860s.

The museum also has a large Special Exhibition Gallery where temporary exhibitions are held, theatre, refreshments and a shop. An audio guide service is available in four languages.

The Museum is a wonderful addition to the culture of Hong Kong.
