Mauritius - Restaurants

All villages have a small general store, where you can buy essentials. Larger shops stocking food can be found in Anse aux Anglais, La Ferme and Port Mathurin.

Bear in mind that some restaurants and tables d’hôte may only open for dinner if they have received half a dozen or more reservations.

In family homes There is nothing like good old home cooking and, luckily for us, some Rodriguan families have opened up their homes for table d’hôte dinners. The following will serve up a traditional gastronomic delight if you reserve beforehand. Expect to pay around Rs300 per person for lunch or dinner.
