Day 1 - Arrive in Bangkok

Upon arrival at Bangkok airport, you will be met by our friendly team, who will escort you to your hotel. Settle in, then meet your tour guide and the rest of the group later at a welcome meeting.

After the meeting our guide will take you out to a local restaurant to try authentic Thai food. Be adventurous is our recommendation, get out of your comfort zone and sample some new amazing dishes.

Day 2 - Orientation & Bangkok Tour

After a quick chat about your trip it will be time for you to experience some of the most famous sites of Bangkok with a private guide.

This includes private canal boat tour, Wat Po, Wat Arun and The Grand Palace. After all so much time on your feet you will enjoy a tuk tuk ride back to the hotel.

Day 3 - Transfer to Soi Yok

A fantastic day is ahead of you as you enjoy the sights on the way to Kanchanaburi and explore Soi Yok area.

Your accommodation is on the floating raft houses on the River Kwai. After the bustle of Bangkok we are sure you will appreciate your raft house veranda watching the river gently flow surrounded by tropical jungle.

A welcome dinner will be included tonight.

On route to Sai Yok we will stop so you can walk across, if you wish, the famous bridge over the River Kwai.

Day 4 - Erawan Waterfalls

Pack water, hat and trekking shoes, it’s time to climb all 7 tiers of Erawan Waterfalls; one of Thailand’s most beautiful falls.

Activity level is moderate with lots of places to rest on route to the top. Trek time is about 1.5-2hrs. Don’t forget swimmers, you can swim in all the pools!

Day 5 - Ethical Elephant Community

Today is the day you will enjoy and learn more about elephants as you visit the Ethical Elephant community and study their projects.

This home uses tourism to fund the care of their elephants allowing the elephants to have a high quality of life in a natural setting. You have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the elephants by, feeding them and giving them a lovely bath. You can also plant and harvest crops for them.

Day 6 - Night-Bike Tour in Bangkok

It’s a late morning departure to Bangkok, as you will want to savour every minute at your raft house accommodation in Kanchanaburi.

Arriving late afternoon you will have a couple of hours to relax before starting your optional night bike tour of Bangkok.

Join the bike tour and enjoy the nightlife scenery of Bangkok. Activity level is moderate. You will cycle around old Bangkok, down alley ways and along the river. The opportunity to see a totally different side to Bangkok.

Day 7 - Transfer to Krabi

Welcome to Krabi, the gateway to idyllic island hopping adventures!

Upon arrival at Krabi International Airport You will be met by your tour guide, who will take you to your accommodation in the Ao Nang area of Krabi.

Before meeting again with your tour guide and the rest of the group, take your time to settle in, enjoy the hotel facilities and familiarise yourself with the surroundings.

You’re in Thailand, where better to start on your first evening than our guide introducing you to Thai street food. Thailand is famous for its food and street food delicacies, so we’re off to a market to sample all of the delicious offerings. In Krabi the big theme is seafood, freshly caught and cooked ‘1000 ways’. If seafood isn’t your thing, no need to worry; there are lots of options and our guide will suggest numerous dishes for you and your fellow travelers to enjoy.

Day 8 - Local Temples

Thailand is famous for many things, and temples are certainly one to tick of your bucket list!

Explore Krabi beyond the beaches with this full-day tour. You’ll stop at Buddhist temples such as Wat Sai Thai, known for its Reclining Buddha statue. Take in rainforest views from Wat Tham Suea (the Tiger Cave Temple) and have time to go shopping in a local market, all with our guide to show
you around.

When you return later in the afternoon why not take a stroll to Ao Nang Beach and watch the sunset. These mesmerising views are not to be missed!

Day 9 - The Mangrove Forest

It’s time to head off to the Bor Thor area of Krabi to explore its mangrove forests; with a journey time of about 1hr.
On arrival you will meet Pee Man, your kayaking guide for
the day. Peen Man is from Bor Thor village and it was in fact Man’s father who discovered some of the caves you’ll explore. This is a great example of how you’ll be supporting local communities throughout your trip.

After a briefing on how to use your Kayak, it’s out on the

water to explore the mangrove forests. It’s quiet, beautiful and packed with wildlife. Moreover there are numerous caves to explore with drawings dating back 3000 years.

After your kayak experience you will have the opportunity to take lunch at Man’s wife’s restaurant!

Day 10 - Sunset Boat Ride

You will have the morning to relax, so why not enjoy the pool and of course the big buffet breakfast.

You are collected for the cruise about 1pm. The cruise is to two islands, and Railay Beach, along the Krabi coastline during this sunset tour.

You’ll board a wooden junk equipped with snorkeling gear, with plenty of swimming opportunities along the way. A Thai buffet dinner is served with soft drinks, cocktails or cold beers available on board.

Day 11 - Transfer to Koh Lanta

Time to head over to Koh Lanta, located in the Andaman Sea off the west coast of Thailand; journey time is approximately 2 - 3hrs.

After you have checked in to your hotel you will have free time to explore the surrounding area, swim, soak up the sun and/or sample the nightlife.

Day 12 - Cooking Lesson in Traditional Teak House

Learn to cook your favourite Thai dishes with Lanta Thai Cookery School, set in a tropical garden in a spacious teakwood house.

Experience the exotic herbs and spices that makes Thai cuisine so unique. You’ll get to cook 4 dishes each and then sit down for a delicious lunch. You can even take home a complimentary recipe book to recreate your favourite dishes at home!

Day 13 - Day Trip to Koh Rok

Discover the tropical waters and white-sand beaches of Koh Rok Nok and Koh Rok Nai islands on a full-day tour by speedboat from Koh Lanta.

Go swimming and snorkeling in picturesque bays using the provided snorkeling equipment. You will also stop at Marn Sai Bay and Koh Rok waterfall in the afternoon. The trip includes a Thai seafood lunch, refreshments, and use of snorkel gear.

Day 14 - Transfer to Koh Ngai

We head out to Koh Ngai on the 8th day and you will have 2 days to relax on the island before heading back to reality.

Day 15-16 - Beach Time

Just simply soak up the beauty, peace and tranquility.

This is a true island escape, with beautiful beaches and is still so underdeveloped with no roads or traffic.

Island paradise.

Day 17 - Back to Krabi

After an amazing couple of days on Koh Ngai where you will be completely relaxed and stress free it’d time to head back to Krabi! You will journey back by boat and taxi to our Ao Nang Hotel and maybe enjoy the amazing local seafood one last time.

Day 18 - End of Tour

Sadly the trip is over and it’s time for you to leave the Pearl of Andaman. This trip includes transfer to Krabi airport and flights back to the UK.
