Antigua is a relatively dry island compared to other Caribbean islands and so it's not a bad destination to travel to all year round. Obviously the rainy season is generally around June - October and there is the very slim chance of a hurricane arriving during that time (usually not even one a year).

The drier weather comes from mid December to mid April, athough in December/January prices tend to be a bit higher than other times of year. Christmas time especially.

If you want to get the best weather "for your buck" then generally early Spring or late Autumn are the best times of year.

Some special festivities occur during different times of the year and you should consider these when choosing to visit Antigua. Sailing Week is a popular event and takes place at the end of April with some of the best sailors in the world taking part in the regatta. Carnival takes place in late July and you can enjoy a fantastic atmosphere with colourful costumes and dancing.
