Honeymoon Planner

Planning your honeymoon early is crucial, we advise you to start planning around 13 months beforehand to avoid any disappointments.

13 months before the honeymoon

It may not be possible to book more than 12 months in advance as flights are not published at this time. So start by having a few options as to where you would like to go, for how long as well as a suitable budget. If you prefer to relax on the beach whilst your partner would rather swim with dolphins, then why not let us help you find the best destinations that will keep you both happy.

9-12 months before the honeymoon

The vital thing to keep in mind at this stage is your budget. We understand how expensive weddings can be so there’s no need to break the bank on a honeymoon too. Start thinking about what kind of accommodation you would like too. Most destinations offer an array of luxury accommodations including beach front resorts, lake side villas, water villas or even mountain top retreats. Now would be a good time to book as the best rooms should be available in a variety of suites.

Booking early can allow you to take advantage of a number of special offers available to you, including flight or room upgrades, champagne in your room or a romantic candlelit dinner on the beach. Don’t forget to also consider any activities that you might like to do such as scuba diving, dessert tours, safaris etc. We guarantee to find the best possible honeymoon to suit any budget and couple.

3-6 months before the honeymoon

Having made the reservations now would be the time to get any outstanding payments out the way. Also be sure to get written confirmation of all your reservations made and keep them safe to avoid disappointment when you get to your destination.

It’s now important to be thinking about your travel insurance too as well as any passports or visas that you might need. If you are travelling abroad, then it would be a good time to ask your doctor about any additional vaccinations that you may need.

1-2 months before the honeymoon

Be sure to pay off any final payments for your hotels, flights, transfers, activities etc that are still remaining so that you don’t come back to more bills on your return. Now would be a good time to stock up on traveller’s checks or get that currency converted if you haven’t done so already. Also make copies of your itinerary, passports, insurance and travel confirmation numbers so you are well prepared in case of an emergency. Stock up on any medicines, sun lotion, toiletries and anything else you need to ensure you honeymoon is perfect.

1 week before the honeymoon

Start packing! Don’t forget to pack clothes for any type of weather conditions you might come across Check with the airline and hotel to see if everything is hitch-free. Be sure you have everything you need for the trip in terms of passports, itinerary, currency, travel documents, tickets, medicines, toiletries etc. Once all this is done then sit back, relax and get ready for the best holiday or your life!
