Morocco
As Morocco is virtually due south of the UK you are flying to the sun as quickly as possible. This means it is a perfect destination if you are looking to catch some winter sun without having to go on a long flight.
As well as great weather there is plenty to see either in the cities or out and about at dramatic destinations like the Atlas mountains.
