Zanzibar Serena Hotel is situated on the sea-front of ancient Stone Town, the hotel is set in 2 historic building that have been restored into this magnificent hotel.

The Zanzibar Style hotel features cultural decor of the Sultan influences from the early 19th century with warm Arabic and Swahili influences. The hotel is surrouned by the bazaars of Stone Town, the ancient Dhow Harbours and Portugese Forts and encapsulates the beauty of the historic bygone era.

The beautiful rooms are are luxurious and sophisticated with wooden doors which open onto private balconies offer breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Each room is decorated with cool colours offering a tranquil and serene ambience. Guest can choose from Standard Rooms, Prime Rooms and Executive Suites. The intimate hotel has only 51 rooms.

The hotel has many fabulous facilities and experience for guests including treatments at the Spa, seaside dining, sea adventures, visits to the Freddie Mercury Museum, Stone Town Tours, Spice Tour and Dolphin tours.

Swahili Restaurant is open daily serving delicious seafood, creative cocktails and fabulous entertainment Baharia Restaurant, Mashani Bar and Terrace Seafood Restaurant are all delightful choices

"Weather was great. A bit of rain on safari and one day of rain in Zanzibar but other than that it was hot and dry."

Is my booking protected?
Yes – If you book flights and hotels with us then you are fully protected under the ATOL scheme. If you buy hotels without flights then ATOL does not apply (as ATOL only applies to package holidays) but we take out supplier failure insurance on your behalf in case any of the travel providers go bust.

You pay a deposit of 10% or £150 per person (whichever is more) at the time of booking and then your balance 14 weeks before departure.
